As July looms and knowing that most of our Catholic school administrators take their vacation during this month, I hope we might be able to catch your attention for two essential messages.

On behalf of the OCS, I would like to say THANK YOU for a great year. Please accept our gratitude for being able to work with some of the most professional and dedicated Catholic educators I’ve had the chance to meet. 2014-2015 was an incredible year of working for a Catholic school system where vocation and education leadership are synonymously woven together. We know this to be true because the OCS staff managed to visit our Catholic schools more than 300 times during the year and every visit was positive, productive, and emphasized Catholicity and academics. We could not be more proud to work with and for you.

The second essential message is about the Kick Start Days we have planned. Attached with this note is a draft schedule of August 10 and 11. We have general sessions with information applicable to all school administrators as well as break-out sessions specifically tailored to meet the needs of a variety of principals, while offering a choice of the content for individual leaders. We also have time built in the day / early evening for an informal dinner and social gathering. In all, the Kick Start Days are designed for the professional, collegial, and social success of our Catholic school leaders. Before July, please take time to register for this event.

We are looking forward to seeing you in August and until then, we hope your vacation is an outstanding summer filled with friends and family.
