Thank you for coordinating CRS Rice Bowl in your school or religious education program.
This year, a new website and new resources make it easier than ever for you to bring this program to your students.
To take full advantage of these new resources, make sure each student receives a Rice Bowl to take home, and encourage students to activate their Rice Bowls on our website.
(Simply scan the QR code on the bottom of the bowl, or visit the Rice Bowl site.)
(If you need additional Rice Bowls, we at the Missions Office have extras for you!)
Activation will allow students to:
· Represent your school on our nation-wide map.
· Receive weekly email reflections.
· Personalize their Lenten experience with stories, meatless recipes and more.
Some resources that may be useful as Lent begins:
· Introduce Lent to your students with this simple lesson plan.
· Lesson plans for each grade level connect students to feature countries around the world.
· A letter to send home with the Rice Bowls, introducing CRS Rice Bowl to your students’ families.
