Shrinking Bigfoot Program: Shrinking Bigfoot is a program developed by Seattle City Light to educate students about the concepts of global warming, climate change, and how energy use contributes to global warming. Since 2008, the program has provided classroom support to nearly 32,000 students and teachers in City Light’s service territory.

    Contest Objective:
The Shrinking Bigfoot Calendar Contest encourages students in grades 3‐6 to show how they would save energy and reduce their carbon footprints through original artwork and written submissions. Twelve lucky winners will be chosen and featured in a 2014 Shrinking Bigfoot calendar. All calendar sale proceeds go to Project Share, a City Light program that provides one‐time emergency utility assistance to families and individuals in need.
