Immunization Update Newsletter Winter

Hello immunization partners,

The winter 2013 edition of the Washington State Department of Health Office of Immunization and Child Profile newsletter is now available online (www.doh.wa.gov/Portals/1/Documents/Pubs/920-915-ImmunizationNewsletterWinter2013.pdf). Please share with other staff and sorry for any duplication.

The newsletter contains articles on the new School Year 2014-2015 Vaccines Required for School and Child care/Preschool Attendance charts as well as other school news (page 5), an updated flu Public Service Announcement, e-mail distribution of the Child Profile Health Promotion materials, and more.

Scheduled for March 21-23, 2014 in Seattle, the 2-1/2-day course focuses on new developments and issues around the use of vaccines. Hear from experts on current and prospective vaccines, vaccine recommendations, and innovative strategies for timely and appropriate vaccination.

Internet Browsers and the IIS
The Washington State Immunization Information System no longer supports Internet Explorer 7. If you use this version, you’ll have problems using the system. Contact your organization’s IT staff to find out which version you use and get it updated. If you need help, contact the Immunization Information System Help Desk at 1-800-325-5599.
