A Note From the DirectorWelcome to 2014! As we start a new year, we are starting a new approach to the monthly updates you get from the Department of Early Learning (DEL). These updates will be shorter, with fewer words and more quick links to the information you want and need from DEL. Please join me in welcoming Heather Moss to DEL as our new deputy director. Heather has many years of experience in early learning, most recently serving as the deputy director at Child Care Aware of Washington. She also has experience in state government at the Office of Financial Management and the Joint Legislative Audit and Review Committee. She brings a strong understanding of Early Achievers and the importance of early learning to this role. We are thrilled to have her join our leadership team.
