Multisensory Math Workshop - October 18

Hamlin Robinson School will be hosting a Multisensory Math Workshop on October 18. Please feel free to share this information with anyone who may be interested.

Multisensory Math Workshop Featuring Marilyn Zecher
Date: Saturday, October 18
Time: 9 am – 4 pm
Location: Hamlin Robinson School
Fee: $125 (includes continental breakfast and lunch)
6 clock hours available for $10

The workshop will cover:
· An introduction into the basic research and methodology behind multi-sensory instruction
· Strategies for teaching basic numeracy and place value
· Demonstrations of the use of manipulatives to model multiplication/division, fractions, geometry and basic concepts in algebra

Ms. Zecher is a Nationally Certified Academic Language Therapist specializing in the application of Orton-Gillingham Multi-Sensory Strategies for teaching math and study skills.
