The 2014 Fall NCEA School Data Collection is underway and the Fall Data Collection Tool (NCEA) will be open until Friday, October 3rd.
Dear School Leaders,
The two-week window for the 2014 Fall NCEA Data Collection to capture student enrollment and more is now open.
Please follow this link to Fall Data Collection (NCEA)
This annual collection includes 8 tabs: School, Enrollment, Faculty, Budget, Indices, Instructional Materials, Assessments, and Status. Some of the data points to support the Indices of Vitality may not yet be fully operational within our archdiocesan system, so an answer of N/A at times may be very appropriate. Please use your own discretion as to how best to answer each question per your local school reality.
2 resources within each section to help guide you through the annual collection:
1) Small Yellow Folders: These folders provide you quick information from the prior year when applicable.
2) Tool Tips: These small blue query buttons can open to shared definitions based on NCEA terminology or the Indices of Vitality Glossary of Terms.
Please remember, you and/or your school delegate can not access this tool without having an OCS username and password and approved access to the link. ALL 74 principals have been given full access. If you have selected to have administrative help completing parts of the data collection, you may need to provide them authorization to access the tool through the CSED. Only principals can authorize who in the local building can have access to this tool since some of the data is confidential. (Employee salary information, etc.)
As always, if you need any technical support, please contact:

Thank you so much for your efforts to help us gather this important information about our schools. Results will be available later in October and the 2014-2015 School Data Booklets will be shared at the October 23 Principals' Meeting.
Blessings,
Sandra Barton Smith
