- Principals will distribute the name tags this week. Please be sure to wear your name tag on Friday.
- Each name tag has the codes of the Break-out sessions with the corresponding location and the location of the Articulation session.
- It is not too late to attend. Come to the Sign In Help Desk and register.
Parking:
- Carpools are encouraged, especially at the Bishop Blanchet Site.
- Parking lots are available at the North Seattle Community College lot with shuttles running in the morning and afternoon
- Driving directions:
- Bellarmine Preparatory School.
- Bishop Blanchet participants are asked to park at the North Seattle Community College lot, at the N 92nd St & Corliss Ave N entrance. This lot is 0.7 mile from Bishop Blanchet’s campus. Via Wallingford Ave N and N 92nd St. A shuttle bus will be available between Bishop Blanchet and North Seattle Community College Campus Parking Lot.
Presenters:
- Each presenter should have received a list of the participants for each of your sessions.
- Please arrive at 7:00 A.M. for the best parking and to set up for your presentation.
Mass:
- Mass begins promptly at 8:15 A.M.
- Those Interested in helping us with the music for mass at each site, you are encouraged to bring your instrument and your voice to music practice at 7:30 A.M. in the gym.
Lunch:
- Principals have ordered lunch for the teachers.
- Special orders will be labeled by school.
- Indoor and outdoor seating available.
Articulation Time – 1:00 – 2:00 P.M.:
- This hour has been set aside for teachers to talk with one another about student writing, the use of the prompt and the rubric.
- Principals and/or their appointees will facilitate the session using a list of prepared questions.
- Teachers make a copy of four student responses representing the range of students in a class. Names of students and school names should not be visible.
- Optional: teachers leave the copies of the writing samples with the facilitator for our ELA committee to review and learn from this process.
