• Increasing Ethnic Diversity and Inclusion to Build Intercultural Communities

    The Office for Catholic Schools (OCS) develops programs to increase accessibility for diverse ethnic, racial, and immigrant populations with an emphasis on growing Catholic communities, for example, Hispanic communities.

    In accordance with the mission of Catholic Education, the OCS, in consultation with the Archdiocesan School Board, the Executive Principals, and the Diversified Learners Committee, develops and promotes the implementation of policies and procedures to maximize student admissions, classroom placement and instruction, and educational resources for diversified learners at the local school level.
