Dear School Leaders,
Please find the Seton Catholic High School Press release below to share with your constituents. Congratulations!
Six years ago, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic High School opened its doors in Vancouver in a temporary location planned to be its home for the next ten years. Fast-forward to today and the school is bursting at the seams. With no more room to grow and new students wanting to come to Seton, “We are thrilled to be announcing the start of construction on our new campus,” said Ed Little, Founding President and current Principal of Seton Catholic.
School officials have approved plans for construction of a new, state of the art, technically wired, Catholic high school campus on property near the Costco on 88th off of Padden Parkway in Vancouver, Washington. Seton Catholic is the first Catholic high school in southwest Washington since Providence Academy closed in the 1960s. A formal blessing and ground breaking is scheduled for October 24th.
According to Tricia Roscoe, President of Seton Catholic, “Our goal is to occupy our new school building by the fall of 2016. We are grateful for the partnership with many organizations and leaders in our community who are making launching this project possible,” said Roscoe. Roscoe also said the school is in the leadership phase of a major capital campaign to help complete the development of the school and athletic facilities, which will ultimately become home to a thriving student body of 450 – 500.
Seton Catholic is a private, college preparatory, Catholic high school currently located at 811 NE 112th Ave in Vancouver.
