PREREQUISITES:You MUST be in a Google Apps for Education school and MUST bring your laptop or Chromebook to class. ALSO NOTE: We will be using “incognito mode” (Chrome) or “in private browsing” (in Internet Explorer) during class, so please make sure the laptop you bring allows you to browse that way. We have found that some schools have set their Chromebooks to not allow incognito mode.

Google Forms are probably the most useful of all the Google tools and can be used even if your students don’t have Google accounts. The morning session (8:30-11:30) will cover the Basics of Google Forms. Both practical and creative ways to use the forms in educational settings will be featured. Learn how to create and share forms like simple online surveys, checks for understanding, and more! The morning session is geared to the novice and beginning Google Form user.
In the afternoon session (12:30-3:30), earn your PhD in Google Forms! Learn how to combine forms with other Google Apps. Learn to use script to make Forms even more powerful in your classroom and to help you with some of your workload. Who wouldn’t like a quiz that grades itself and then sends the scores out to students? The afternoon session is geared to teachers and other school personnel interested in exploring some of the advanced uses and features of Google Forms.

Clock Hours for one session: 3 clock hours for $10
Clock Hours for two sessions: 6 clock hours for $12
