The Justice For Immigrants Campaign has designated next weekend, May 1-2, as a “Weekend Of Prayer For Immigrants.” The intent is to have Catholics around the country to pray for fair and just immigration reform. For homily suggestions and other resources, see the attachments or visit the JFI website: www.justiceforimmigrants.org.
There will be a rally on May 1 in Seattle in support of comprehensive immigration reform. While not sponsored by the Archdiocese, the May 1 rally’s goal of justice for immigrants is in keeping with Catholic social teaching. For details, see the attached flyers, one in English and the other in Spanish.
