Dear Pastors and Principals:
I want to highlight the fine work of Sister Sharon Park, her staff and the wider efforts of the Washington State Catholic Conference. Donna Christiansen has been particularly helpful to me and my assistant superintendents in a variety of educational efforts.
I hope you will take time to review the document I have attached for your review. Besides their advocacy for our schools, you might also want to review their website and see the wider initiatives they support in proposing Catholic Social Teaching as a tool to guide all of our legislatures in writing good laws and promoting effective public policy.
