Seventh Grade Teachers - Consider the Missionary Discipleship Institute

Currently, eleven schools have registered for the Missionary Discipleship Institute, a joint project representing the OCS, Missions, Maryknoll, St. Vincent De Paul, and Christ our Hope.

The year-long Institute isn’t so much an event as it is a curriculum based on helping our students become missionary disciples. Seventh grade teachers receive formation and three complete unit plans that at the beginning of the year! The well-researched and resourced unit plans gift the teacher with well-defined intentional use of the 7^th grade religion standards. Teachers will be supported throughout the year through the wisdom of our past Superintendent of Schools, Mary Sontgerath. Mary’s passion for her faith and continued belief in Catholic schools fuels her work in this program. We are so blessed to have her support.
