Abbot Roth & Abbot Baran Scholarships
Saint Martin’s University will award up to four, full-tuition, need based scholarships to incoming freshman for fall 2018. The scholarship is renewable up to four years, assuming the student maintains a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA at full-time status (12 credits).Abbot Roth & Abbot Baran Scholarships
Requirements:
- Attend a Catholic high school in the United States, US territories, or associated states
- Be admitted to Saint Martin’s University
- Submit either the FAFSA or WASFA
- Must be Pell Grant eligible
- A student can self-nominate in any of the four core values: Faith, Reason Community and Service or
- Be nominated by a school official at their Catholic high school.
Responsibilities:
The Abbot scholars will be asked to contribute an average of five hours a week as a servant leader to Saint Martin’s. The scholars will serve in the Office of Admissions their first year. There is an expectation that students will live on campus for the four years they are attending Saint Martin’s.
Application
- A nomination form from a school official or a self-nomination written by the student detailing which of the core values the student best exemplifies is due by March 1.
- Nominations can be submitted in a Word.doc or .pdf format to rbyrne@stmartin.edu.
- Interviews will be held in April, with the announcement of recipients made by May 1.
