• CCHD Multi-Media Youth Arts Contest Grades 7-12

The CCHD Multi-Media Youth Arts Contest from the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Catholic Campaign for Human Development can helplead young people, grades 7-12, through a process of learning about poverty and CCHD’s faith response. They then become educators themselves by creating any type of “art” (video, essay, drawing, music, etc.) to communicate what they have learned. Youth can be effective communicators of the positive messages about CCHD’s work to confront poverty for their peers, parishes, and communities.
The contest’s local deadline, in the Archdiocese of Seattle, is March 11, 2011. Entries should be submitted to the Missions Office, the archdiocesan office for CCHD.
For information about the CCHD Multi-Media Arts Contest, including local resources and CCHD-funded projects, contact J.L. Drouhard in the Missions Office.
