The issues facing refugees today are as critical as they were over 60 years ago. Come and hear Robert Jan van Pelt speak on a seldom studied aspect of the Holocaust – onethat is especially timely considering the global situation of today.
Robert Jan van Pelt, a native of Holland, is an author, architectural historian, professor at the University of Waterloo, Ontario and a Holocaust scholar. One of the world's leading experts on Auschwitz, he regularly speaks on Holocaust related topics, Recent books include: Flight from the Reich: Refugee Jews, 1933-1946, Holocaust: A History, and The Case for Auschwitz: Evidence from the Irving Trial. Dr. van Pelt will be signing his book at the end of the program.
