My teachers really liked having time to talk with their grade level colleagues from other schools. Many of us just have one teacher per grade level or one teacher for two grade levels. My 5/6 teacher learned about the Transition book for Singapore Math which we ordered and are now using to help our older students who did not have the program all along. This suggestion came from a fellow 6th grade teacher. Google chats or some type of skype for conference calls could be a good way for same grade level teachers to collaborate and share best practices. The sessions I attended were great. Thank you.
