… for an online, one hour training on Operation Rice Bowl and you! Hosted by the Missions Office, this online event is to help you and others run a successful, educational and fun Rice Bowl program this Lent. This training is open to anyone in your parish or school community.

Part of the training will include a sharing of "Best Practices for Rice Bowl": What has worked well at your parish or school? What truly inspired people, got folks involved, helped the program go smoothly? Let us know!

Several days before the online meeting, please check if your computer can run Blackboard by clicking on this link (you will only need to do this one time): http://support.blackboardcollaborate...uestionID=1251. Click on the link for Blackboard Collaborate Web Conferencing.

To participate more fully during the presentation, consider using a computer headset (with microphone). This inexpensive piece of equipment could be borrowed from your parish or school, and is available at Target, Best Buy, or the like (approx $20). If you are using a Mac, you will need to use a USB headset instead of the regular RCA mini plug version for PCs.

Please Note:
The Operation Rice Bowl supplies from Catholic Relief Services on the east coast will begin shipping January 6^th. The plan is to have them in you and your colleagues’ hands one month before Ash Wednesday.
