Good News from our Schools
Archbishop Sartain has announced the appointment of Fr. Stephen Rowan, Ph.D. as the new Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Archdiocese of Seattle. The Catholic Schools Department is very pleased that we will now be able to move forward with the transition of superintendents during the next several months. Fr. Rowan will officially begin on September 4, 2012. We are expecting a smooth transition, given that Fr. Rowan is a former Superintendent and is familiar with the schools and parishes of Western Washington. A stated priority of Fr. Rowan is to visit as many schools as possible next year. Please welcome and congratulate him!
May is Safe Environment Deadline - Are you in compliance?
All employees must complete Call to Protect within 90 days of hire. After completion you can take an annual online refresher course. To find out if you are compliant, go to the SETA Net website (http://seattle.setanet.org/obligations.php). Log on with your first and last name, and the first characters of your address. Check that all your information is up to date and then press the continue button on the bottom of the page. Your support is vital.
