St. Therese, Seattle, becomes a 21st-century Catholic school of excellence, thanks to the generosity of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and KIPP founder Scott Hamilton and Seton Education Partners. Saint Therese is undergoing a significant transformation, becoming St. Therese Catholic Academy, the first blended technology learning Catholic school in the Northwest! St. Therese is one of only two Catholic schools in the country chosen by the nationally renowned Seton Education Partners to adopt this proven, cutting-edge model of learning.]
Holy Rosary, Tacoma, begins a Dual Language program in pre-K and Kindergarten. In those grades, all students will receive instruction in Spanish and English. St. Cecilia, Bainbridge Island, scores big in the 2012 Washington State Science and Engineering Fair. There were 540 participants and over 116 schools from east to west of the state St. Cecilia students were outstanding, bringing home the most awards ever to our school. Congratulations!
