June Institute at SU - Pre-Read Materials

Dear Educational Leadership Institute Participants,

We are excited to be able to provide some valuable resources to prepare for this year’s Leadership Institute at Seattle University: Two books – Habits of Mind Across the Curriculum and Text Tools for Reading Comprehension– which you will receive with this letter. To encourage participants to read part of the books in advance of the Institute, we are providing 6 additional clock hours to those who go online and respond to questions about the materials before we gather on June 19 at Seattle University. Those clock hours will be sent by July 30 to all who submit the reflections.

Our hope is that this will assist in bringing to life the opportunities provided by Bena Kallick, Peggy Olcott and Nancy Skerritt in their presentations and support our learning about Habits of the Mind to reach our students and change practice in the classroom.
