Camp Financial Aid Still Available
It is already June and that means the countdown to camp is now measured in days instead of months! We are projecting a record year of growth, and our horse programs are now full thanks to your help! We are blessed to have a large financial aid bank this year that enables us to give assistance to campers in need. Please let us know if you have parishioners that could use a week at camp but can't afford the full cost. The application process is confidential and we still have over $20,000 available in scholarship money. We would love to make camp available to everyone in the diocese who would like to attend, regardless of their financial situation. Thank you again for all of your prayers for our program and for promoting camp in your parishes - we are truly blessed!
Young Adult Summer Events
Young adult events for the Summer of 2012 are now posted on OYYAM's Google calendar. Be sure to check them out so that you can refer the young adults of your parish to these fun events! Also, we are continually seeking strong presenters for our Wine and Wisdom series. Archdiocesan Council for Catholic Youth
ACCY is a highly coveted leadership opportunity for high school youth to play a key role in Archdiocesan events such as Youth Convention and Junior High Rally. Even more importantly, this position challenges these individuals to take what they have learned back to their parish communities in the effort of building up the Body of Christ. Help us promote the return of this fundamental program by encouraging youth to apply!
CYO Athletics - "Go Forth and Serve"
At this time of Pentecost, we are grateful for the Holy Spirit in our lives and the gifts and fruits we have received through its presence. Like the early disciples, our devoted group of CYO Athletic Directors and the famous surfer, Bethany Hamilton, we are each called to go forth and serve with what we have been given.
