Life, Justice and Peace Contacts - August Dates

Dear Life, Justice and Peace Contacts,

Next month, the Archdiocese will present a workshop titled, “Living for Others: Theology of the Body, Catholic Social and Moral Teaching,” August 12-15, at the Archbishop Brunett Retreat & Faith Formation Center at the Palisades. The program will demonstrate the unity of the Church’s teachings on Social Justice, the Beatitudes, and Sexual Morality: all presentations will emphasize Living For Others (self-giving love) as the key to happiness and personal fulfillment.

The insights provided by this workshop will assist those involved in family life, marriage preparation, and ministry to youth and young adults. Complete information is available on the Palisades website. You will also find a link for online registration. Deadline for registering is July 30^th.

Important Dates for 2013:
Mass for Life – Tuesday, January 22, 2013 (40^th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade) – The Mass will begin at 9:30 a.m. at St. Martin’s Marcus Pavilion, Lacey, WA.
Catholic Advocacy Day – Friday, March 22, 2013, Olympia, WA.
