Apple iPad Tips and Tricks for School Leaders

Many of our school leaders have been studying the instructional, budgetary and school management implications of various tech devices in their schools. For those interested and available, the CSD Tech Team is hosting an informal presentation on Monday, August 20^th from noon to 3 :00 p.m. in the large Isaac Orr Conference Room at the Chancery to address specifically, the iPad through our “Tips and Tricks of the iPad” Presentation.

Tim Macdonald and Pete Vraspir from Apple will be here to share an iPad overview as well as Q and A time along with dialogue with us about how some of this technology is transforming instructional aspects of schools. The presenters will share some of the best practices learned by Apple as to how schools and school districts respond to the impact that these tech devices bring into our educational communities: the need for policy changes, new layers of professional development, showcasing best practices, and budgetary realities. Bring your questions, concerns, and ideas! Light refreshments will be served as this will be one of the first principal gatherings for the 2012-2013 school year.
