November is Employee Portfolio Month
On August 21, the CSD launched the Employee Portfolio (CSEP) system and have set a deadline of December 21 for completion of the biographical data by all school employees.
Why you should want to do this:
- You gain access to information and resources which will help you professionally.
- You can edit and update your biographical and contact information online 24/7. In January 2013, this data will be used to generate the 2012-2013 Service Awards recipient list for all schools. You can create a .pdf-format summary of your Profile for your own records.
- You will have the ability to track Professional Development, clock hours and Catechetical Certification within this online system.
- You gain the capability to see employee names and emails, by grade and subject, across the Archdiocese. Find your colleagues across Western Washington.
- You can view assessment and curriculum information across the Archdiocese.
- In the future, when the Archdiocese issues formal guidelines, you will have social networking capability to network with fellow Catholic schools educators about our shared educational ministry.
What you should know:
- CSEP is private. You are the only one who sees and edits your Portfolio. The exception is that your local administrator can see the Profile information, such as address, in your Portfolio. As the Portfolio grows and you add information like curriculum resources, these will be private unless you designate them to be seen by other selected employees.
- Administrators cannot see your current password but they can set a new password for you. You can reset your own password at any time after you have logged in.
- A link to Employee Portfolio (CSEP) Help files is found on the SCL home page under the heading Personnel>Materials/Forms>Employee Portfolio Help.
- The Employee Portfolio system (CSEP) replaces the old Applitrack Portfolio system. If you are seeking a new position within the Archdiocese, click the Employment link on the left side of the SCL home page to see open positions; from there you can log on to Applitrack to apply.
What you should do to start or update your portfolio:
- Log on to seecelebrateandlive.org (SCL). Click Log in Help in the top right corner, if you need a password. If you need more detailed help, see Step-by-Step Guide to Log on to SCL.
- After log in, click My SCL, and choose the Tool CS Employee Portfolio (CSEP), to enter your biographical and contact information. (This is the Profile section in your Portfolio and should take under 15 minutes to complete.) For detailed help, see Employee Portfolio Help.
Thank You!
As always, if technical help is needed, contact us by email (csd@seattlearch.org) or by phone at 206-382-4861.
