Last week, Catholics Confront Global Poverty held a one hour webcast entitled, “Confronting Global Poverty at the End of the 112th Session of Congress”.
Here are some resources from the webcast:
- View the recording of the session. The website launches Adobe Connect, which should work on most computers. You can also share the recording link with your friends and family members!
- Take Action by responding to the latest Action Alert! Your voice can make a difference so please let your legislators know that careless cuts will cost lives! A copy of the alert is also attached with this email.
- Watch the new video, “Cuts Costs Lives”. Post the link on Facebook so you can share it with others and spread the word about the importance of lifesaving poverty-focused international assistance. (Also, be sure to like your Missions Office on Facebook!)
We hope you’ll be able to participate in the next Catholics Confront Global Poverty session on Monday, December 17th at 9:00 A.M. Pacific Time, which will focus on your advocacy accomplishments to confront global poverty in 2012. Reserve your spot now.
