January 22, 2013; 8:30 am – 3:00 pm

Blended Learning is the combining of elements of online learning with traditional in-school instruction, and this approach has drawn increasing levels of attention. This program will look at a variety of topics, including:
– Current models of blended learning
– What research does (or doesn’t) tell us about effectiveness
– Supporting good instructional practice with blended learning
– Essential technical and instructional conditions for blended learning
– Examples of local implementations at elementary and secondary levels
– Tools and resources to support blended learning
The program will include a flipped component, with participants receiving links to several short videos to view and respond to beforehand, to leave more time during the session for dialogue and exploration.
Bring a team and take advantage of the discounted fee of $65/person for teams of 3 or more!
Audience: Curriculum and Technology Leaders
