Washington is one of 44 states to adopt the Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts and Math. Dr. Hasbrouck will present an overview and explanation of the CCSS English Language Arts Standards. She will discuss common sense, practical, research-based strategies for teachers and specialists working with students with dyslexia and other struggling readers to help them achieve these ambitious new standards.
