The University of Washington's Department of Bioengineering 'Sowing the Seeds of Neuroscience' project is excited to offer an exceptional middle school science teacher professional development opportunity this summer. Neuroseeds Summer Teacher Workshop is part of an NIH awarded neuroscience education research project developing science curriculum enhancement activities based on Traditional Uses of Native Plants. This is an on-campus, paid, hands-on lab experience with expert teachers and UW researchers and staff. Teachers who complete this workshop will be eligible to check out a kit with all the lessons, supplies and equipment necessay to implement the activities in their classrooms.
