Re: Archdiocesan School Calendar for 2010-2011

Enclosed is the suggested Archdiocesan School Calendar for 2010-2011. The calendar is based on a 180-day school year. In preparing your school calendar, please refer to the School Policy and Procedures Manual, Management 5.1.
The policies are also listed on the attached Archdiocesan Calendar Regulations 2010-2011.
The academic calendar for the Archdiocese of Seattle is a guideline for pacing and highlights Archdiocesan In-service days. Please refer to the central calendar to refer to specific curriculum workshops/meetings that are being developed to support our professional learning communities.
The September 17, 2010 Teacher Excellence Day and the March 25, 2011 Deanery Curriculum Development Day are full days when all school principals and teachers are expected to attend.
Planning for Accreditation does not take preference over these days.
