    Brought to you by SchoolReach,

    National Catholic Educational Association

Join us next Tuesday for a free webinar with Sister Angie Shaughnessy on Safety and Medical Issues in Catholic Schools.

We are still reeling from the Sandy Hook tragedy—is it even possible to keep children safe in today’s world? Huge safety concerns emerge as medical issues increase in schools. It is no longer sufficient—or in some cases even wise—to have students bring their medication to the school office for storage and dispensing. State laws can be confusing and even contradictory in terms of school personnel and the administration of medication and treatment. Food and other allergies can be life threatening. Some students are described as medically fragile. What can the educator do? What should the educator do?
