All About Differentiation in the Math Classroom (Grades PK-8)
It is a fact that teachers are faced with an enormous challenge of meeting each student’s individual needs during math instruction. Teachers are searching for ways to challenge the above standard students, provide the remediation needed for the students who are below standard, and to maximize the achievement of all students in between.
In this workshop, K-8 teachers will learn a range of strategies to assist the differentiation process during math instruction. Teachers will determine which strategies best fit their classroom needs and work with other teachers to develop a plan on how to realistically start implementing these new strategies into their classrooms the next day.
When: March 4th 9am – 2:30 pm
Where: The Mountaineers Building (*New Home for Discover Mathematics!)
7700 Sand Point Way NE Seattle, WA 98115
