Curriculum - Beginning with the Religion Curriculum, I thank Dr. Anne Frederick in the Office of Faith Formation. Last year, she assembled a group of teachers to review and compare our religion curriculum to other diocese across the country. Building on this effort, in the next month I plan to assemble a religion curriculum team whose task will be to consult, review, and continue the revision process for rollout in the spring of 2014. A second curricular area will be chosen this year for review and updated on the website. More to come soon on this effort.

This year, we have two locations hosting our day together. Thank you to principals Chris Gavin, at Bellarmine Preparatory School and Sheila Kries, at Bishop Blanchet High School, for graciously offering their respective sites and for providing the people to power this engine!I want to encourage principals to look for instructions

I thank all the presenters who have offered to share their expertise with us. We will have teachers sharing expertise from their classrooms, and we will have programs and exhibitor vendors who will encourage us to consider their products in our schools. Stay tuned for more information about our Teacher Excellence Day 2013!
