Dear K-8 Catholic School principals, development professionals, and parent volunteers;
Every year, the Fulcrum Foundation offers a selection of 6-8 meetings addressing issues relating to school enrollment, marketing, fundraising, and events. All meetings run from 9:30 to 12:00 noon on Wednesdays in the Isaac Orr Conference Room at the Seattle Archdiocese. You and a colleague are cordially invited to join us for meetings whose topics are of particular interest to your school.
This year’s kickoff meeting is on September 25th, focused on Auctions (with a special presentation from BidPal, an auction automation vendor). BidPal’s flyer to our schools is attached to this email – through the link provided on the PDF, you can register to experience a “live event” that will be presented at our meeting. A calendar of further meetings and topics is attached.
Planned meetings include:
• October 23rd, engaging volunteers and avoiding burnout (with a presentation from Orange Ruler)
• November 6th, marketing and PR for schools; enrollment management
• February 26th, GiveBIG and data management
• March 12th, maximizing your annual drive; partnering with your parish
• April 30th, building an alumni network
• May 28th, summer enrollment and marketing
This group’s function is as a network for insight and resources in the spirit of cooperation among Catholic Schools in our Archdiocese. We have a Google group Q&A forum, and a Google drive where documents are shared. Please contact elisa.cooper@fulcrumfoundation.org with your R.S.V.P. for the 25th, and if you would like to be added or unsubscribed from this group.
For new principals and development professionals – welcome. Even schools at a great distance find that a significant topic makes the long trip worthwhile, and there is some interest in carpooling. Fulcrum is currently investigating ways to teleconference in the future. We value your presence with us!
