Have you thought of yourself as a missionary? What if you did? A missionary in your school setting…would this make an impact on the way you teach and/or lead? Do you have a teacher, or are you a teacher who has a dream to visit Bolivia? To answer these questions, click on the link below for Kevin Foy’s latest newsletter listing “missionary” opportunities for us all from the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers and the Missions Office.

Jump Rope for Heart, Hoops for Heart and Red Out

In line with our mission to educate students for leadership and service to the Church and society, consider partnering with the American Heart Association this school year. As we seek to further integrate meaningful service into our programs, Jump Rope For Heart, Hoops For Heart and Red Out For Heart offer students the ability to help increase awareness and educate the public for this important cause. With your support of the American Heart Association, we are teaching our students the importance of proper nutrition, exercise and living tobacco free.
Thank you to our participating schools, and I encourage all schools to consider partnering with the AHA during the 2013-14 school year.

Please reach out to Dawn or Karen to sign up your school by November 1st to guarantee that program materials are reserved.
