Typhoon Haiyan – response through Catholic Relief Services - Please see the Special Report attachment from CRS dated 11/12/13.
Many of our parishioners wish to make a contribution for the relief efforts in the wake of the catastrophic typhoon in the Philippines. In the Archdiocese of Seattle, for this emergency, parishes are encouraged to provide information on how to support our agency, Catholic Relief Services (CRS), through direct donations or through a parish collection sent to the Missions Office (CRS representative here). Below is basic info and sample bulletin announcements. Attached is a Special Report of November 12, for possible use in faith communities.
