    Here is the agenda/registration form for the Northwest Catholic Educational Leadership Institute 2013 follow-up session. This day with Susan Abelein will prove to be a great reinforcement of our summer work. I encourage all who participated last summer to take the time to register! Principals are encouraged to bring 2-3 teachers who have developed units using the unit plan. Please note that there is no charge for attending this follow-up special opportunity.

    Teachers and Administrators will...
    • Share in a "what's working, what's not working" session with regard to CC Math and ELA unit planning
    • Refresh UbD: Review the Key Components of Math and ELA Common Core Unit Plans
    • Refresh UbD: Review of "The Core Six: Essential Strategies for Achieving Excellence with the Common Core"
    • Identify the "look-fors" in Math and ELA classrooms


    Bring the following with you...
    • The Core Six by Silver, Dewing, and Perini (please bring this text with you- you received it at last year's Institute)
    • Any Common Core units that were designed this school year using the Institute Unit Planning Templates (or other templates) for Math and ELA
