Adjusted Covenant and Work Agreement Forms online to be used for 2014-2015 school year
All Covenant and Work Agreement forms are now formed with the year being “fillable”.
The Work Agreement forms have been adjusted to reflect they are not a Covenant such as certificated staff is issued. An important change to be noted for the Work Agreement is for employees working more than 20 hours and qualified for Benefits. In order for those employees to keep their Benefit coverage through the summer, they need to continue to receive pay. Those employees eligible for Benefits will need to have their Work Agreement state they are a “salaried employee”, not an hourly employee. Non Benefit employees may be paid an hourly rate since they do not need to get paid during the summer. As you are determining job descriptions and status for those employees on a Work Agreement, use the new forms to enter into an agreement.
The teacher, principal and vice principal Covenants have been adjusted to reflect the payroll schedule. The Covenants will all have a beginning date of September 1, 20___ and concluding date of August 31, 20 ___.
This does not affect teacher starting dates but reflects the payroll periods. Bi-weekly pay will begin in September for the current year.
