“Further Implementing the Common Core State Standards in ELA with Diverse Learners in Mind”

We have 254 registered for our conference. A total of 44 schools are represented, with 36 coming from the Archdiocese of Seattle and 8 schools from the dioceses of Portland, Yakima and Boise.

Homework for an additional 6 clock hours: The focus this year will be on Unit Plans. Therefore, the texts should help us focus on ELA standards and strategies to widen our focus with diverse learners in mind. Therefore, the homework will be a unit plan! The texts should help us in the creation of the unit, as well as the work we undertake with Dr. Susan Abelien, our presenter. Our homework will be due post conference, June 26.
