• Google Classroom coming for Google Apps for Education

Editor note: Go to youtube.com for reviews and demonstrations.

Hello Google Apps for Education Administrator,

We’ve heard loud and clear that schools need access to Classroom sooner than September. Today, we’re excited to inform you that Classroom will be available to all teachers and students in your domain the week of August 11, 2014. This means that any teacher in your domain will be able to create or join a class, invite students, and post assignments.
Classroom is a new service covered by your Google Apps for Education agreement, and you’re able to enable or disable Classroom in the Admin Console—for the entire domain or for selected organizational units. To get started, users can visit classroom.google.com, indicate whether they are a teacher or student, and then create or join their first class. The Classroom Help Center will be updated with additional articles, including how to verify teachers. We’ve also recently launched the Classroom Product Forum, a resource to help get your questions answered.
We’ll be continuing to innovate and add new features throughout the school year, so keep the feedback coming on what you like and what areas we need to improve by using the Send Feedback button.

    Sincerely,
    The Classroom Team
