We have a two-week window for Fall NCEA Data collection to capture student enrollment and more. Once the 2014 archdiocesan data is captured, it is shared with the National Catholic Education Association (NCEA) to add our data to the national snapshot of Catholic schools. We are grateful for each school's commitment to track, verify and enter 'clean' data. In order to fulfill the compliance requirements, it may be helpful to review various data reports so you can study your patterns and see what areas of information will need to be updated to match the current reality of your school.
What do we collect?
- General school overview and program information which includes student participation numbers in federal title programs.
- Student Enrollment Data - by ethnicity, by race, by grade level.
- Faculty Data - Professional staff by ethnicity and religion, professional staff by race and religion, full-time and part-time professional staffing.
- School Budget - Budget Information which is aligned to the Indices of Vitality
- Instructional Materials - instructional materials being used in the school to positively impact student learning. This year, we ask that each school primarily updates RELIGION and MATH instructional materials.
- Assessments - Identify formative and/or summative assessment tools actively used within the school.
- Technology Survey - This tool captures and tracks a variety of hardware/software and IT themes annually.
Reports for School Leaders: Our dynamic databases allow us to gather data in real time so school leaders have access to data at various levels: local school data, PreK-8 school data, high school data, regional data, and overall Archdiocesan data. Access to these reports is immediate and based on the local administration's delineation of roles and positions assigned in the CSED (Catholic Schools Employee Database).
