Religion Standards Update and Prayer Completion Card

In the last 3 months, 31 school sites have hosted a staff gathering for the Religion Standards presentation with 61 schools represented. With three more presentations planned for the month of January, all schools will have had an introduction to the new standards.

By April of this year, our Religion Committee will meet one additional time to make textbook recommendations and determine the common end-of-year assessment. We hope to have three schools pilot the end of year assessment in May of 2015.

Be on the look-out for a Religion Standards Survey. We want your input as we move forward in our two year implementation process. Attached please find the Prayer Completion Card to be used as a student progresses through the grade levels and retained in the permanent record.
