• Teacher Excellence Day 2015 – “Feed One Another”

We collaborate with one another to achieve excellence and accessibility. These three core values are the cornerstones for our Strategic Plan. Through Teacher Excellence Day, we give life to collaboration as we call on teachers to step forward with ideas and programs to share. In Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, He answered the disciples' concern regarding the hungry crowd with a reminder that they (we) have more than enough. We feed one another. We have so very many gifts in our Archdiocese. The excellence we seek in programming and in our ability to serve all learners already exists within and throughout our schools. We help one another grow when we share our gifts.

Affirm your teachers by calling them forward to share. This year, the Teacher Excellence Day Committee voted to change the way in which we thank our teachers for this shared gift. We hope the schools will offer each teacher presenter a paid day off, and the OCS will pay for the substitute at each building.
