SUBJECT: Seeking Nominations for Archdiocesan School Board
Membership, Academic Year 2010-2013

The Archdiocesan School Board is seeking nominations for new members of the Board, who are willing to serve for a renewable three-year term. The mission of the Board is to advise the Superintendent of Catholic Schools with respect to policies affecting our schools, to review applications for new schools, to assist in development efforts for an annual leadership conference, and to further assist in promoting Catholic schools. Applicants should be knowledgeable and passionate about the mission of Catholic schools.
I am excited about the growth and work of the Board over the past year. To more fully round out our membership, the Board continues to look for broad representation both from the ethnic communities of the Archdiocese and from areas distant from Seattle.
The Board’s regular meetings for the 2010-2011 academic year will be held at the Education and Faith Formation Center, Archdiocese of Seattle, 910 Marion Street.
On behalf of the Board, I appreciate your recommending someone you think is qualified to serve and whom you have ascertained is willing to do so. Please complete the attached nomination form and return it to the Catholic Schools Department no later than April 19, 2010.
