Currently, the criteria that we have developed follows:
CRITERIA
Number of times assessment is given in one year
Length of time to take
Length of time between assessment and data received
Grade levels and content areas
Cost per student
Assistance in creating instructional plans using the data
Professional Development – what kind and how much
Criterion referenced or Norm referenced
Platform – Technology needs
Staffing needs to administer the assessment
Number of schools currently using this assessment
A survey regarding assessment needs will accompany the spring data collection. Please complete the survey to give us a better understanding of your assessment needs and concerns.
Representatives will give a 45-60 minute presentation and who have responded thus far: IOWA/Continuum, Renaissance STAR, ACTAspire, NWEA Map. Confirmation calls to be scheduled with Smarter Balanced and CTBS Terra Nova.
