    Approximately 1 in every 68 births is a child with autism. Many of these children are entering the Catholic school systems for its strong teaching and overall safe and predictable structure. Deacon Sutton, a Clinical and School psychologist will outline what autism is and is not while providing best practice strategies and methods of identifying and working with these children in a typical classroom, particularly the more difficult to recognize higher functioning children.
