Educators interact with experts in science, engineering, policy, and economics for a deep dive on the future of local water. Crisp 10-minute talks with awesome slides are captured on video to inspire classroom inquiry and drive problem-based learning. See list of speakers... below!

Learning Exchange: Water resource experts share specific, local, technical knowledge with teachers. Each talk is 10 minutes, captured on video with multiple cameras, professionally edited for ongoing classroom use. Symposium talks are followed by a live audience Q&A to explore additional technical information and classroom applications.
Real-World Resources: Teachers will have digital access to text resources curated on CommonAgenda to give students access to real-world curriculum content supporting both Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards. The community is the textbook!
Problem-Based Learning: Teachers translate knowledge gleaned from the experts into ideas for problem-based learning.
Clock Hours: Six clock hours may be purchased for $20 through a partnership with Facing the Future and Western Washington University. Clock Hour forms available at the Symposium.
