Dear School Leaders,
Archbishop Sartain has challenged us to increase our presence in Olympia for Catholic Advocacy Day, Monday February 8th.
This year advocacy day falls especially early in the legislative session. To facilitate effective planning (legislative appointments and buses), we need you to register as soon as possible but no later than January 18th.
What you can do:
Register! Go to www.ipjc.org to register or call 206.223.1138 to register by phone if you do not have internet access.
Put posters up in spaces where your community will see them (two sizes: 8.5 x 11 in English and Spanish, and 11 x 17 in English and Spanish)
Personally invite those in your community to consider going to Catholic Advocacy Day
Ask a person from your community's Life, Justice and Peace committee (if one exists) to assist in organizing people to register and attend CAD using the "Advocacy Tool Kit" found at www.ccsww.org.
If you have any questions please feel free to call Sr. Linda at 206.223.1138.
Thank you for considering being with us for this communal witness for justice and life on Catholic Advocacy Day.
In collaboration with the Intercommunity Peace & Justice Center,
Your Missions Office,
Veronica Fehrenbach, J.L. Drouhard and Kelly Hickman
