    Thank you for recording the number of students who were taught the VIRTUS Touching Safety curriculum this past fall.

    We would like to remind you that the Touching Safety Program is a twofold series. This March, your teachers are required to teach the second lesson to their students.
    Please distribute this list to all teachers who will be facilitating classes so that they understand which class they are required to teach.
    The required lessons are as follows:

    Kindergarten Lesson 2: Understanding Safe Friends, Safe Adults, and Safe Touches
    First Grade Lesson 4: Telling Someone You Trust
    Second Grade Lesson 6: Grooming- Recognizing Risky Adult Behavior: Part II
    Third Grade Lesson 2: Understanding Safe Friends, Safe Adults, and Safe Touches
    Fourth Grade Lesson 4: Telling Someone You Trust
    Fifth Grade Lesson 6: Grooming- Recognizing Risky Adult Behavior: Part II
    Sixth Grade Lesson 2: Understanding Safe Friends, Safe Adults, and Safe Touches
    Seventh Grade Lesson 4: Telling Someone You Trust
    Eighth Grade Lesson 6: Grooming- Recognizing Risky Adult Behavior: Part II
    Ninth Grade Lesson 2: Understanding Safe Friends, Safe Adults, and Safe Touches
    Tenth Grade Lesson 4: Telling Someone You Trust
    Eleventh Grade (Optional) Lesson 6: Grooming- Recognizing Risky Adult Behavior: Part II
    Twelfth Grade (Optional) Lesson 8: Creating and Following Family Rules
    This is required in all grades kindergarten through 10th grade (11th and 12th grade are optional).

    We have included instructions on how to record attendance within VIRTUS for compliance purposes.
